DD2 postcode crowned 'coolest place to move to in 2026'

On a list published by The Times of the “11 coolest UK postcodes to move to” this year based on factors such as the quality of local restaurants and access to green spaces, the only Scottish destination to appear on the roundup is the West End of Dundee.

Described by the newspaper as the best place “for Caledonian creatives”, Dundee’s West End is a mainly affluent residential area a short distance from the city centre. The University of Dundee is also situated in the West End, with many students and young people calling the area home.
